Acer had also joined the game in releasing a gaming laptop with the latest Intel Coffee Lake CPU — Acer Nitro 5. This 15-inch gaming laptop is powered by up to the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7 and i7+ processors, which offers improved speed and threading efficiency.
The Nitro 5 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display and ships with up to the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 and i7+ processors. In terms of graphics wise, it will come with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. Backing up the performance are up to 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD and 32GB DDR4 RAM. Additionally, the laptop comes with the CoolBoost technology that adjusts the fans for optimal performance.
The laptop also features Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony technology for a better audio experience. It also features Intel Wireless-AC 9560 2×2 802.11ac wireless which offers Gigabit performance that enhances gaming, streaming, and conferencing experiences.
In terms of I/O ports, the Nitro 5 comes with the hyper-fast USB-C port, HDMI 2.0 port, Gigabit Ethernet port, etc. The laptop will be available in EMEA from May onwards, retailing from €799 (approximately RM3779).
