Acer today invites Malaysians to make their green mark by choosing to do their own small part for the earth. The Acer Aspire Vero (AV15-51) is the company’s latest effort in making the earth a better place.
Made of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR)plastic in its chassis, the laptop saves on around 21% CO2 emissions. Its keycaps contain 50% PCR plastic and the thoughtful design helps eliminate needless waste by making it easy to disassemble, repair, upgrade and recycle the computer or its components.
The Acer Aspire Vero sports a 99% recyclable 15.6-inch FHD IPS display and is powered by up to the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Users also have the option to select Eco+ mode in Acer’s new VeroSense software for greater energy efficiency and battery life.
The laptop also comes with features like Wi-Fi 6, an RJ-45 port, an HDMI port, a Type-C USB port, and two Type-A USB ports. Furthermore, it also ships in a box made from 80-85% recycled paper pulp, and plastics for adapter protection are reduced by using paper sleeves instead.
The Acer Aspire Vero runs on Windows 11 with a lifetime Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 license pre-installed. The laptop retails at RM3,399 for the i5 variant and RM4,299 for the i7 variant. You can purchase the laptop via Acer estore, Lazada, and Shopee.
In conjunction with the arrival of Aspire Vero, any purchase of Aspire Vero from 11 November until 19 November 2021 will be entitled to redeem gifts worth up to RM500, such as Acer backpack, Acer Gateway Pro wireless headset, Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit, etc. Customers will also be partnering with Acer to adopt more trees in Taman Tugu; for every Aspire Vero purchased, RM100 will be channeled to fund tree adoption. Acer Malaysia aims to adopt another 15 more trees with customers’ support.
