Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 4 in China last year, but the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 processor. The company has just announced the international version Redmi Note 4 in India, which is available in three variants: 2GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.
Powering the international version Redmi Note 4 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which is a downgrade to its predecessor in terms of performance. However, the Snapdragon 625 processor is more power efficient thanks to its 14nm architecture and FinFET tech.
The rest of the specs are pretty similar to the Chinese variant — 5.5-inch Full HD display covered by a 2.5D curved glass, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera with Beautify 2.0 feature, 4,100mAh battery and MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow.
The international version Redmi Note 4 will go on sale on 23rd January 2017 in three colors: Gold, Dark Grey and Black.
