Mi Malaysia recently just launched two new smartphones — the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi 7. Earlier this year, the company announced that Redmi is now officially the sub-brand of Xiaomi. Well, much like POCO, Redmi is now also an independent brand, own by Xiaomi.
Redmi Note 7
The Redmi Note 7 is the latest of the Redmi Note series, it has the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 backside illuminated CMOS sensor that has 48 million physical pixels. The phone sports a 6.3-inch 19.5:9 Full HD+ Dot Drop display.

All variants will be available at Mi stores, Lazada, and Shopee on 27th March 2019 and will come in three different colors: Space Black, Neptune Blue, and Nebula Red. Additionally, the phone also comes with an exclusive 18-month warranty.
Redmi 7
The Redmi 7 is the more affordable version with slightly less powerful specs:

- Up to 3GB RAM
- Up to 32GB expandable storage
- Dual rear cameras: 12MP f/2.2 + 2MP depth sensor
- 8MP front camera

- MIUI 9 based on Android 9 Pie
The phone will be available in 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variants, pricing at RM499 and RM599, respectively. Both variants will be available at Mi Stores, Lazada, and Shopee on 27th March 2019 and will come in three colors; Comet Blue, Eclipse Black, and Lunar Red.
