Xiaomi Announces Redmi Note 10 Series, Priced From RM649

Xiaomi has announced the new Redmi Note 10 series, which will be available in Malaysia by this month. This time around, there are four Redmi Note 10 devices — Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi Note 10 5G. However, only the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 will be available in Malaysia at the moment.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro will be available in Malaysia from March 15 onwards, whereas the Redmi Note 10 will be available earlier from March 8 onwards.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

The Redmi Note 10 Pro sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

In terms of camera, the phone has a quad-camera setup on the back — 108MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro + 2MP depth sensor. It has a 16MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro packs a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11. Other features include dual speakers, IP53 splash-proof, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IR blaster.

Available from 15 March onwards, the Redmi Note 10 Pro will be priced at RM999 and RM1,099 for 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants respectively. The phone will be available online at official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and offline at Authorized Mi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia. The phone comes in three colors — Onyx Gray, Glacier Blue, and Gradient Bronze.

Redmi Note 10

As for the Redmi Note 10, it sports a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a regular 60Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Like the Pro variant, the Redmi Note 10 also comes with a quad-camera setup on the back — 48MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor. The phone has a 13MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.

The Redmi Note 10 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11. Other features include dual speakers, IP53 splash-proof, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IR blaster.

Available from 8 March onwards, the Redmi Note 10 will be priced at RM699 and RM799 for 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants respectively. On the 8th and 9th of March, the 4GB+64GB variant will be available at a lower price on Lazada — RM649. The phone will be available online at official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and offline at Authorized Mi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia. The phone comes in three colors — Onyx Gray, Pebble White, and Lake Green.

Redmi Note 10 Series Specs

At the moment, Xiaomi Malaysia didn’t reveal any plans on bringing in the Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 5G.
