It’s been quite a long time since we last saw vivo launched an X series device in Malaysia. Fret not, the company has announced that the vivo X50 series is making its way to Malaysia!
There are three devices — the X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+, but it seems that the company will only launch the former two, as listed on vivo Malaysia’s website. The X50 will be available in Frost Blue and Glaze Black, while the X50 Pro will be available in Alpha Grey.
vivo X50
The X50 sports a 6.56-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display that supports HDR10 and HDR10. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
In terms of camera, the X50 has a quad-camera setup — 48MP f/1.6 main + 13MP f/2.5 portrait shooter + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens + 5MP f/2.5 macro camera. Selfie wise, it has a 32MP f/2.5 front-facing camera.
The phone packs a 4,200mAh battery that also supports 33W vivo Flash Charge, which can charge up to 58% of battery in 30 minutes. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10.
vivo X50 Pro
As for the X50 Pro, it shares quite similar specs with the regular X50 — 6.56-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10.
The main difference is the camera, which is also its main selling point. Its 48MP f/1.6 main sensor uses a gimbal system for stabilization. Completing the quad-camera setup is an 8MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto lens, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, and a 13MP f/2.5 portrait camera. It also has the same 32MP f/2.5 front-facing camera. It comes with a 4,315mAh battery, which also supports 33W vivo Flash Charge too.
Unfortunately, the official launch date and pricing remain unknown, but we think it won’t take too long.
