vivo Malaysia officially launched the new vivo X200 series in Malaysia, which consists of two models: X200 and X200 Pro. Nope, the X200 Pro mini has not made it to our shores this time.
The vivo X200 sports a 6.67-inch 120Hz 2,800 x 1,260 AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of cameras, the X200 has three 50MP cameras on the back with ZEISS optics, including the ZEISS telephoto camera and VCS True Color main camera. The phone also has a 32MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.
The vivo X200 is IP68 and IP69 rated for water and dust resistance, the phone has a 5,800mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
As for the vivo X200 Pro, it has a larger 6.78-inch 120Hz 2,800 x 1,260 AMOLED display with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor instead of an optical fingerprint sensor on the non-Pro model. The phone shares the same MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The Pro model also shares the same camera setup on the front and back, but the telephoto camera has been swapped to a 200MP APO 3.7x optical zoom unit, which allows you to capture better concert photos from far back as if you are standing in the front row. It has a larger 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, the phone also supports 30W wireless charging as well.
The vivo X200 series is now available for pre-order until 22 November 2024, retailing at RM3,599 for the X200 and RM4,699 for the X200 Pro. Both models come in only one configuration of 16GB+512GB. Each pre-order will receive free gifts worth RM1,787.
