vivo Malaysia has officially introduced the vivo X Fold5, its latest flagship foldable smartphone that merges lightweight design with top-tier hardware and display technologies.
The vivo X Fold5 weighs just 217g, making it one of the lightest foldables in its class. With an aerospace-grade hinge, it is even slimmer than its predecessor, measuring 9.2mm when folded and 4.3mm when unfolded. It is also rated IP5X, IPX8, and IPX9, offering impressive protection against dust and water.
The device features a 6.53-inch cover display and an expansive 8.03-inch main screen, both using AMOLED panels with 2K+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, ensuring a bright and immersive viewing experience.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the vivo X Fold5 is equipped with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, delivering flagship-level performance and speed.
On the back, the device sports a triple-camera system co-engineered with ZEISS, consisting of a 50MP Ultra-Sensing VCS Bionic Main Camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera with Sony IMX882 sensor supporting 3x Optical Zoom and 100x HyperZoom, and a 50MP Ultra Wide-Angle Camera with a 120° field of view. Both the inner and outer screens house a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Keeping it powered is a 6,000mAh BlueVolt battery, supported by 80W Dual-Cell FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge. The device runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and comes in Gray and White color options.
