vivo today has unveiled the brand new V3Max in Malaysia, which was first announced in India last week.
The V3Max is crafted with aluminium magnesium alloy body covered with glossy surface. It is the first device to be available in Malaysia that ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor.
The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display covered by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It features 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, which supports MicroSD card up to 128 GB for memory expansion.
Camera wise, the V3Max has a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF that can lock focus within 0.2 second. Selfie wise, you’ll get an 8 MP shooter on the front. vivo claims that the camera can be activated in just 0.7 second. There’s also a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device, which unlocks your phone in 0.2 second and also acts as your camera shutter button.
Like other vivo smartphones, the V3Max comes with an AKM Hi-Fi chipset made exclusively for vivo. The V3Max features an AKM4375 chip, which has a tested SNR of 105 dB, and a distortion rate lower than -97 dB.
The V3Max packs a 3,000 mAh battery that pairs with its own Dual-Charge Circuits to provide a fast and safe charging.
The device is running on Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which comes with Split-Screen feature.
The vivo V3Max will go on sale in Malaysia on 15 April at the retail price of RM 1,399. At this moment, you’ll only get to purchase the Gold color variant.
