Sony Mobile Malaysia today launched the Xperia X series in Malaysia — Xperia XA, Xperia X and Xperia XA Ultra.
The Xperia XA and Xperia X were announced at MWC 2016. The Xperia XA is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. It sports a 5-inch HD display and packs a 13 MP rear camera accompanied with a 5 MP front camera.
The Xperia X, which is now available for pre-order, sports a 5-inch Full HD display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB expandable storage. It has a 23 MP rear camera and fingerprint sensor like the Xperia Z5.
The Xperia XA will be available from 27th June onwards at the retail price of RM 1,199, while the Xperia X will be available from 22nd June onwards at the retail price of RM 2,499.
As for the Xperia XA Ultra, it sports a 6-inch Full HD display with BRAVIA Engine 2 technology. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 3 GB of RAM.
The main focus of the Xperia XA Ultra is its cameras — 21.5 MP rear and 16 MP front. Sony claims that its 2,700 mAh battery is able to provide up to 2 days of battery life.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra will be available in Malaysia next month at the price of RM 1,699 in three color options — Graphite Black, White and Lime Gold.
