The wait is over as the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now official. Both devices are in different sizes, but pack the same specifications.
The Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S7 edge has a larger 5.5-inch display.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processors. Both devices have 4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB internal storage, and the MicroSD card slot is back!
Camera wise, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge now have 12 MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a new Dual Pixel technology, which delivers brighter and sharper images, even in low-light.
Both Galaxy S7 and S7 edge have larger batteries than their predecessors (3,000 mAh for S7 and 3,600 mAh for S7 edge). Both support fast wireless charging (WPC and PMA standards).
Software wise, both devices are running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UX. Not to forget that both Galaxy S7 and S7 edge feature IP68 rating as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be launched in Malaysia on 18th March 2016. Pre-orders for both devices will be available from 7th to 11th March.
