ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X Now Available for Pre-order in Malaysia

Announced back in June, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has officially opened pre-orders for its brand-new ROG Xbox Ally series, starting with an exclusive online launch at 8.15 PM today via the ASUS e-Store, before rolling out to authorized resellers from 6–15 October 2025.

Co-developed with Xbox, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X are gaming handhelds designed to blend the best of console and PC gaming in a portable form factor. Both models feature a redesigned chassis for improved comfort, including textured grips, contoured edges, and ergonomic palm rests for fatigue-free sessions. The premium Ally X goes further with advanced impulse triggers, providing precise haptic feedback for greater immersion.

Running on a custom Xbox-ROG interface, the devices boot directly into a full-screen Xbox dashboard while retaining full Windows 11 functionality. Players gain instant access to Xbox Game Pass, Game Bar widgets, and joystick-friendly navigation while still enjoying PC gaming staples like mods, emulators, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Under the hood, the standard Ally is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor for balanced performance, while the Ally X steps up with the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor featuring an integrated NPU for AI-driven gaming. Both models leverage AMD’s latest graphics tech—FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), and AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF)—for optimized visuals and performance. The Ally X also houses a 60Wh battery, addressing one of handheld gaming’s biggest challenges: extended playtime.

Both the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X are now available for pre-order today at just RM2,699 and RM4,299, respectively. Both ROG Xbox Ally handhelds will be widely available on shelves from all authorized ASUS resellers from 17 October 2025 onwards.

Gamers in Malaysia who pre-order between 3–15 October will receive a special launch bundle worth RM999, which includes the ROG SLASH Sling Bag 4.0, a screen protector, a 512GB MicroSD card, and a 2-Year Perfect Warranty with accidental damage protection. Buyers can also enjoy a 20% PWP discount on the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 and ROG 65W Gaming Charger Dock.
