OPPO today has launched yet another photography-focused Selfie Expert series device — OPPO F1s, in Malaysia. Like the F1 Plus, which we reviewed not long ago, it has the same 16MP front-facing camera.
The F1s has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, which downgraded from the F1 Plus’ 1080p display. The device has a curved 2.5D glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, which can be operated even when you are wearing gloves.
Powering the device is a MediaTek MT6750 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. Smartphones nowadays have two slots for a SIM card and either a SIM or MicroSD card, but the F1s comes with triple-slot card tray, which means you can have two SIM cards and one MicroSD card in the phone together.
Camera wise, the F1s comes with a 13MP f/2.2 rear and a 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. The front camera comes with Beautify feature, as well as Screen Flash function, so that you can take great selfies even under the low-light conditions.
As for its battery, the F1s comes with a 3,075mAh battery, which OPPO claims to provide a full day usage. Sadly, VOOC Flash Charge technology isn’t available for this device. The device, however, still has a fast fingerprint sensor, and you can set different applications to launch when you touch the sensor with different fingers.
The OPPO F1s is priced at RM1,198 with Gold and Rose Gold colors available. Pre-order for the device will start from 10th August until 19th August, while 20th August will be the date you can purchase the device.
