OPPO Find N6 Officially Announced with Titanium Flexion Hinge

OPPO Find N6 Featured

OPPO has officially unveiled the OPPO Find N6, setting a new benchmark for foldable smartphones with major upgrades in durability, performance, and display technology. With this latest release, OPPO continues to address some of the most common pain points of foldable devices, particularly the visible crease and long-term durability.

At the core of the Find N6 is the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of up to 1TB UFS 4.1. This ensures that the device is more than capable of handling intensive multitasking, gaming, and productivity workloads with ease.

Battery life also sees a notable upgrade. The Find N6 is now equipped with a larger 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, an improvement over its predecessor. Charging remains fast and convenient, with support for 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.

The biggest highlight, however, lies in its redesigned hinge system. OPPO introduces a second-generation Titanium Flexion hinge, which is now 11% wider and features a refined teardrop folding mechanism. This design helps reduce stress on the display when folded, ultimately improving durability over time.

To further tackle the issue of the crease, OPPO has implemented an advanced manufacturing process. Using laser scanning with 0.3-micrometer precision, the company mapped the hinge surface before applying 3D liquid-printed polymer layers. This reduces unevenness in the hinge from approximately 0.2mm to just 0.05mm, resulting in a significantly less noticeable crease during everyday use.

Complementing this is OPPO’s upgraded “auto-smoothing Flex Glass,” which is now 50% thicker and offers double the shape recovery performance. The material is also said to be over three times more resistant to deformation, allowing the screen to “spring back” into shape after unfolding. As a result, users can expect a more consistent display experience even after prolonged usage.

Durability is further reinforced with TÜV Rheinland certification for up to 600,000 folds while maintaining display flatness, and up to 1 million folds overall. Beyond the folding mechanism, the device itself now features IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings, offering improved resistance against dust and water—something still rare among foldable smartphones.

In terms of imaging, the Find N6 introduces a new 200MP main camera using the ISOCELL HP5 sensor, paired with a brighter f/1.8 lens. The addition of a True Color sensor enhances white balance accuracy, ensuring more natural-looking photos.

The telephoto camera retains a similar sensor but now uses a 70mm focal length, while the ultrawide camera receives a significant upgrade with a larger 50MP sensor and autofocus support. For selfies, both the inner and outer displays are equipped with new 20MP cameras.

Display quality also sees improvements, with both panels becoming brighter than before. The cover display can reach up to 1,800 nits in typical outdoor use and peak at 3,600 nits, while the inner display hits 1,800 nits with a peak of 2,500 nits. Both screens feature LTPO technology with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and support 10-bit color with Dolby Vision.

On the software side, the Find N6 runs on Android 16 layered with ColorOS 16. OPPO is also committing to long-term support, promising five years of Android updates and six years of security patches.

OPPO Find N6 Price
