Unboxing
The OPPO Enco Air2 comes in a rather big white box, which is quite similar to other OPPO earbuds.
Open up the box and you’ll see the earbuds are in the charging case, then there’s the user guide. That’s pretty much the whole unboxing experience. My review unit doesn’t come with a charging cable, but I believe the final retail unit will include one since there’s a partition for it.
Key Features
This time around, OPPO has highlighted six key features, which are:
- 13.4mm Composite Titanized Diaphragm Driver
- Translucent Jelly Case Lid
- Enco Live Sound Effects
- 24 Hours of Listening Time
- 3.5g Lightweight Earbud
- Binaural Low-latency with Bluetooth 5.2 Transmission
The OPPO Enco Air2 features 13.4mm large composite titanized diaphragm drivers that deliver higher sound quality than the last generation.
Its translucent jelly case lid is a continuation of the original design of the previous generation. The rounded shape and matte finish make it feel good to hold in hand. You can also see inside the case to make sure the earbuds are safe in it.
Enco live sound effects allow you to listen to songs like a professional. OPPO’s Blu-ray acoustics experts have tuned the Air2 and created two new professional Enco Live sound effects: immersive “Bass boost” and crystal-clear “Clear vocals”. Choose a sound preset via Bluetooth with just one tap to listen to your songs with style.
Once fully charged, the earbuds can play music for 4 hours. The case can also charge the earbuds multiple times, meaning you can get up to 24 hours of music playback.
Each earbud only weighs just 3.5g, close to the weight of a marshmallow. The earbuds come with an ergonomic design that fits in the ear comfortably. You’ll barely notice the earbuds in your ears.
With Bluetooth 5.2 and binaural synchronous transmission technology, audio and visuals are always in sync. In addition, to enjoy your games without any lag, you can turn on Game mode to reduce the latency of audio to as low as 80ms.
The OPPO Enco Air2 will launch in Malaysia on 22 February 2022 alongside the Reno7 series. Stay tuned as we will be covering the launch, as well as publishing a review.
