OnePlus 8 Series

The OnePlus 8 series has finally made its official debut! Same as last year, OnePlus has a regular variant and a “Pro” variant.

OnePlus 8 Pro

The OnePlus 8 Pro is the company’s true flagship device, starting from $899 price tag, it sports a 6.78-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.

In terms of camera, the 8 Pro has a quad-camera setup on the back — 48MP Sony IMX689 main + 8MP 3x telephoto + 48MP ultra-wide + 5MP color filter lens. Selfie wise, it has a 16MP Sony IMX471 hole punch front-facing camera.

Unlike its predecessor, it doesn’t have a pop-up selfie camera, probably to make the phone safe from water splashes. Yup, the phone is now IP68 water and dust resistance.

The 8 Pro packs a 4,510mAh battery which supports Warp Charge 30T, and finally, wireless charging! It supports Warp Charge 30 Wireless, but to achieve that 30W fast wireless charging you’ll need to buy its separate wireless charging stand.

It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 10 and available in three colors: Glacial Green, Ultramarine Blue, and Onyx Black.

It comes with a triple-camera setup on the back — 48MP Sony IMX586 main + 2MP macro + 16MP ultra-wide. Selfie wise, it has the same 16MP Sony IMX471 hole punch front-facing camera.

The OnePlus 8 packs a 4,300mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T support. It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 10 and available in three colors: Glacial Green, Interstellar Glow, and Onyx Black.
