The OnePlus 6 is official! For the first time, the phone features basic water resistance, though the company doesn’t recommend you to take it out for a swim.
The phone sports a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display with the resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixel. Like most flagships nowadays, the phone has a notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6/8GB RAM and up to 256GB non-expandable storage.
In terms of camera, the phone comes with a dual-camera setup — 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX 519 with 1.22µm pixel size and OIS + 20MP f/1.7 Sony IMX 376k with 1.0µm pixel size. Additionally, the phone is capable of recording up to 4K@60fps video and super slow motion video at either 1080p@240fps or 720p@480fps. Selfie wise, there’s a 16MP f/2.0 fixed focus front camera.
The OnePlus 6 packs a 3,300mAh and supports Dash Charge (5V/4A). The phone will be available in three colors: Mirror Black, Midnight Black, and Silk White. One major change of the OnePlus 6 over its predecessor is having a Gorilla Glass 5 back. Furthermore, the Midnight Black variant has a matte looking, something like a frosted glass.
