OnePlus finally announced the third generation flagship device — OnePlus 3. At just 7.3 mm thick, the OnePlus 3 features an all-metal unibody design, carved from a single slab of space-grade aluminum alloy.
The OnePlus 3 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display covered by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB non-expandable storage.
The device packs a 16 MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. Its rear camera is capable of 4K video shooting as well as RAW image shooting, aided with OIS and PDAF technology. Selfie wise, there’s an 8 MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
The OnePlus 3 has a slightly smaller 3,000 mAh battery compared to its predecessor (3,300 mAh). It does have the same USB Type-C port, but OnePlus has included Dash Charge technology — fast charging feature (60% in 30 minutes).
The device also features an improved, more durable ceramic fingerprint sensor that improves accuracy with increased use.
The OnePlus 3 is running on OxygenOS based on Android Marshmallow. For now there’s no news regarding to its pricing and availability in Malaysia, but OnePlus Malaysia states that it is coming.
