LG has just officially announced two new devices — the LG V40 ThinQ and LG Watch W7. The V40 ThinQ is the company’s latest device focusing on cameras, while the W7 is a hybrid smartwatch running on Wear OS.
LG V40 ThinQ
The V40 ThinQ is basically quite similar to the G7 ThinQ, which was announced back in May. It still has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. However, LG has switched to a larger 6.4-inch 19.5:9 QHD+ OLED FullVision display.
The main selling point of the phone is actually it has five cameras — three on the back, two on the front. Its rear cameras are:
- 16MP Super Wide (F1.9 / 1.0μm / 107°)
- 12MP Standard (F1.5 / 1.4μm / 78°)
- 12MP Telephoto (F2.4 / 1.0μm / 45°)
Selfie wise, there are a 5MP wide-angle lens (F2.2 / 1.12μm / 90°) and 8MP standard angle lens (F1.9 / 1.12μm / 80°).
The V40 ThinQ packs a 3,300mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The device comes in four colors: New Aurora Black, New Platinum Gray, New Moroccan Blue, and Carmine Red.
LG Watch W7
As for the LG Watch W7, it combines mechanical movement with digital functionalities. Developed in partnership with Soprod SA of Switzerland, the LG Watch W7 features high-precision quartz movement and physical watch hands wrapped in a stainless steel body.
