ILLEGEAR ATOMIC 16 and SAPPHIRE

ILLEGEAR had just unveiled the ATOMIC 16 and the SAPPHIRE, both laptops that are designed for specific markets yet still offer premium experience and performance. The ATOMIC 16 is the brand’s latest ultrabook, looking to nail down the premium experience without the hefty price tag. Whereas the SAPPHIRE is ILLEGEAR’s flagship premium gaming laptop.

The ILLEGEAR ATOMIC 16 is a lightweight and minimalistic-looking ultrabook, powered by the latest Intel 12th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. It also comes with a large 70Wh battery which could last almost a day. Designed to provide maximum productivity and portability, the laptop comes with a large trackpad, silent keyboard, quiet fans, and hinges that allow the laptop to fold 180 degrees. The laptop also comes with a display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB.

The ILLEGEAR SAPPHIRE is the ultra-premium laptop that the brand is going to offer. It comes fitted with an Intel i9-12900H or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU, paired with either an RTX 3070 Ti or a 3080 Ti GPU with DDR5 RAM. All these performance figures won’t make sense without a proper display. The laptop has a 16:10 aspect ratio ultra-thin bezel display with 100% sRGB. NVIDIA G-Sync is also supported by the display.

The SAPPHIRE also features an actual mechanical keyboard by Cherry. Besides that, there is also an extra-large dual zone trackpad made for productivity. There are also speakers powered with the latest Soundblaster Cinema 6+ audio for the best audio experience.

The ATOMIC 16 will be priced from RM3,299, with an estimated shipping date of late August 2022. Pre-orders of the ATOMIC 16 will get an 8GB RAM Upgrade and Thermal Grizzly Kyronaut. On the other hand, the SAPPHIRE will start from RM9,799, pre-orders are entitled to a free 1TB SSD upgrade, Liquid Metal applied on the CPU, and a Matmaster RGB Gaming Mousepad. Estimated shipping for the SAPPHIRE will start on late August 2022.
