HUAWEI today officially announced the availability of the HUAWEI Pura 70 series in Malaysia. The Pura 70 series recently made headlines in China when the company started selling the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra.
The latest devices from the rebranded P series represent a blend of innovation and sophistication, offering users a seamless experience with exceptional performance and sleek design. According to the HUAWEI Official Website, the HUAWEI Pura 70 series is now available for pre-orders until 24 May 2024.
However, HUAWEI only launched three models of the Pura 70 series in Malaysia — Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, and Pura 70 Ultra. All three devices are IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.
The Pura 70 Ultra is the top-of-the-line model in the series, which sports a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. Powering the phone is the latest Kirin 9010 chipset with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The phone features a large 1-inch 50MP primary camera with a retractable lens (exclusively available on Ultra), a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens with OIS, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus. It packs a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 20W reverse wireless charging.
The Pura 70 Pro has the same screen and chipset as the Ultra model but with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone packs a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 48MP 3.5x telephoto lens with OIS, and a 12.5MP ultra-wide camera. It has a 5,050mAh battery with 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 20W reverse wireless charging.
The Pura 70 has the same display but the size is smaller at 6.6-inch. It is also powered by the Kirin 9010 chipset but with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone has the same 50MP main camera as the Pro along with a 12MP 5x periscope lens with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. It packs a 4,900mAh battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
The HUAWEI Pura 70 series starts from RM3,699 for the vanilla model, while the Pro is priced at RM4,899 and the Ultra is priced at RM6,599. The phones are now available for pre-orders until 24 May 2024. Each pre-order will receive gifts worth over RM2,000.
