At IFA 2016, Huawei announced the Nova series smartphones and MediaPad M3. The wait is over, Huawei Malaysia has just announced that the Nova Plus and MediaPad M3 are now available for purchase, we aren’t sure why the Nova isn’t available.
The Huawei Nova Plus sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display covered by a 2.5D curved glass. Powering the device is a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The phone has a 16MP rear camera with 1.12μm pixel size and OIS. Selfie wise, it has an 8MP front-facing camera with Beauty Makeup 2.0 and Beautiful Skin 3.0 applications. Not to forget that the device is capable of recording 4K video as well.
The Huawei Nova Plus has a 3,340mAh battery and there’s a new fingerprint sensor on its back which supports faster and more accurate 360-degree unlocking.
The device is priced at RM1,499, with two color options available — Titanium Grey and Prestige Gold.
The Huawei MediaPad M3 features a Harman Kardon audio system designed and tuned to give users a world class listening experience on the sleek new tablet. It has a 8.4-inch 2,560 x 1,600 IPS display at 359ppi pixel density. Powering the tablet is Huawei’s own Kirin 950 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage.
The tablet has 8MP cameras on its front and rear — the front one is fixed focus while the rear one is auto-focus. It has a 5,100mAh battery, which claims to have up to 11 hours of Full HD video playback, up to 6 hours of continuous 3D game playing and as many as 45 hours of music playback.
The Huawei MediaPad M3 is priced at RM1,699 for 32GB variant in Moonlight Silver and RM1,999 for 64GB variant in Luxurious Gold.
