HUAWEI Malaysia has announced that the latest nova series device — the HUAWEI nova 8, is now available in Malaysia. Marketed as a high-performing vlogging smartphone, the nova 8 comes with plenty of features, enhancing the consumer’s entertainment experience.
The HUAWEI nova 8 sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Instead of coming with the Kirin 985 chipset, the international variant comes with a Kirin 820E processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, the HUAWEI nova 8 packs a quad-camera setup on the back — 64MP f/1.9 main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro. HUAWEI states that its camera comes with an AI feature that adopts a 4-in-1 light fusion technology for excellent vlogging. The phone has a 32MP front camera for taking selfies.
The nova 8 has a 3,800mAh battery that supports 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge, which can be charged up to 60% in just 15 minutes and fully charged within 35 minutes. The phone runs on EMUI 12 without GMS, it should be getting the HarmonyOS update in the near future.
