HUAWEI MateBook D 15 Coming on January 18

The highly anticipated HUAWEI MateBook D 15 laptop will hit Malaysian shores on 18th January. Since its launch in China in October 2019, it has received many positive user feedbacks and also has high satisfaction ratings.

The laptop is purpose-built and designed to suit the needs of both professionals and consumers. The MateBook D 15 also comes featured with a FullView display, powerful performance, and robust build quality, all in a lightweight package with chic design. It is also capable of providing cross-platform experiences that allow users to work with multiple devices seamlessly with the support of Multi-screen Collaboration and also the HUAWEI One Tap Share that was launched recently.

With the rapid growth of ultra-slims in today’s market, Huawei used their expertise on mobile phones to their advantage. They made the FullView display possible with this advantage and enables them to fit a larger display on a small, light, portable chassis. The laptop has a whopping 87% screen-to-body ratio with its ultra-thin bezel, measuring at just 5.3mm thin. The 15.6-inch display is a 16:9 IPS panel that supports Full HD resolution (1980×1080) with a maximum opening angle of 178 degrees.

The MateBook D 15 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor and an AMD Radeon Vega 8 GPU. The laptop uses a multi-purpose USB port to charge, this is not something you see everyday on laptops in this price range.

The laptop also can be equipped up to 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory. There are two configurations for consumers regarding storage, they can choose either an only SSD option or a combination of SSD and hard disk. The Matebook D 15 will retail at RM2,499 and is available in Mystic Silver.
