Honor 7 set to launch on June 30

Honor, sub-brand of Huawei, has released another image hyping up the release of its new Honor 7 and is appearing to subtly hint the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor with the fingerprint like backdrop on the image. Their tagline for the Honor 7 seems to be hero, going by the mandarin translation of the words in the middle of the screen.

It is expected to have a 5-inch 1080p display with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, all being powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 935 processor. For its camera, the Honor 7 should be having a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and optical image stabilization for all your Instagram needs. The smartphone will be running Emotion UI 3.1 on top of Android 5.0 while having a decently sized 3,280 mAh battery.

Rumor has it that there will be two different versions of the Honor 7 but there has been no news on this yet besides having the 5.5-inch being the Honor 7 Plus, purely going by how it was with the Honor 6. The latest Honor smartphone was expected to launch last week before the launch was pushed back to the end of the month. All eyes would be on it when it is launched on June 30 especially with the possible introduction of a fingerprint sensor.
