Well, it’s that time of the year again — Mobile World Congress (MWC)! Huawei has just announced new products — Huawei MateBook X Pro and Huawei MediaPad M5 series tablets.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro sports a 13.9-inch 3K touch-enabled FullView display, making it have a 91% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop is either powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor with up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. Surprisingly, there’s a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics (2GB GDDR5 VRAM) in this slim chassis. Additionally, it also features Dolby Atmos Sound System.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 series comes in two sizes — 10.8-inch and 8.4-inch. Both tablets have 2K displays, covered by a 2.5D glass. Like the MediaPad M3, both tablets also feature speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. Powering the MediaPad M5 series tablets is the Kirin 960 processor with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Meanwhile, the 10.8-inch MediaPad M5 Pro will come with the Huawei M-Pen, featuring 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity for taking notes, drawing and designing.
All devices will be available in China, Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, from this Spring onwards (March 2018).
