So, HTC had unveiled a new phone which looks like an iPhone. Despite having identical look to an iPhone, you can actually easily notice that it is a HTC smartphone. The One A9 is a 5-inch device which has Full HD AMOLED display covered by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Unlike the rest of the One series smartphones, the One A9 doesn’t feature dual front-facing speakers. However, its speaker comes with a built-in DAC that delivers audio at 24-bit, 192 KHz quality.
The One A9 is the first device to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. There are two configurations available – 16 GB internal storage + 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage + 3 GB RAM.
It is also the first device that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which means you’ll get features like Google’s Now on Tap, Doze battery saving and more. The One A9 comes with a fingerprint sensor too, and it doubles up as a home button as well.
Camera wise, the One A9 features a 13 MP rear camera with OIS. The front-facing camera is an UltraPixel sensor which allows you to capture 300% more light than conventional smartphone cameras. You can also capture RAW photos too!
The HTC One A9 will be available in four colors – Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet. Indeed, the One A9 really looks like an iPhone.
