HTC’s Desire line has always been the company’s most successful lineup for the past two years, the company just announced two new Desire 10 smartphones — Desire 10 pro and Desire 10 lifestyle.
Both variants share the same design language with the sharp contrast of polished and matte surfaces, which available in four colors — Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux. Both devices are made of plastic, but feature metal trim to make it looks premium. One noticeable big difference between both devices is the fingerprint sensor on the back of the “pro” variant, while the “lifestyle” model doesn’t have it.
Both devices have the same 5.5-inch display, but with different screen resolutions. The Desire 10 pro sports Full HD IPS display, while the Desire 10 lifestyle has a HD Super LCD display. Powering the Desire 10 pro is a MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage, while the Desire 10 lifestyle has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.
Camera wise, the Desire 10 pro has a 20MP rear camera with laser auto-focus, and the 13MP front camera supports panorama selfie as well. As for the Desire 10 lifestyle, it has a 13MP rear camera without laser auto-focus, and the front camera is a 5MP unit. It also has 24-bit Hi-Res audio certification as well.
As for the battery, the Desire 10 pro has a 3,000mAh battery, while the Desire 10 lifestyle has a 2,700mAh battery. Both devices support fast charging feature as well (5V/2A and 5V/1.5A respectively).
Unfortunately, there’s no words on the launching date and pricing of the Desire 10 series in Malaysia, but HTC Malaysia has stated that the Desire 10 pro will be coming to Malaysia very soon.
