HTC is making a comeback with its newest flagship – the HTC 10. The 10 is here to prove that HTC is capable of making a good flagship.
Not naming as the One M10, the HTC 10 packs an all-metal unibody design which available in four color combinations: Carbon Gray, Glacier Silver, Topaz Gold and Camellia Red. The chamfered edges feel different and boast a slimmer look. The 10 also has a fingerprint scanner like the One A9, which unlocks your phone in 0.2 second.
The 10 has a 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display covered by a curved Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB internal storage.
Camera wise, the 10 is the world’s first smartphone to have OIS and larger aperture f/1.8 lenses on both front and rear cameras. The UltraPixel technology has made a return to the rear, with a higher 12 MP resolution. Not to forget that there’s also laser auto-focus. As for the front-facing camera, it features a 5 MP unit with wide angle lens.
You’ll get to record 4K video with the stereo 24-bit Hi-Res audio recording, which captures 256 times more detail than standard recordings across twice the frequency range. The BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speakers feature the same separated tweeter and woofer design you see in leading acoustic systems. The 10 is certified for Hi-Res Audio and the device also comes with Hi-Res Audio certified inbox earphones.
The HTC 10 is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest Sense UI. HTC has been working closely with Google to provide a better user experience. The company has reduced the number of duplicative and pre-loaded apps and bloatware in the latest Sense UI.
Your screen interface is no longer confined to a grid of apps with Freestyle Layout, which means you can drag the icons, stickers and widgets anywhere you like. The new HTC Themes allows you to customize the icons, backgrounds and sounds.
The HTC 10 has an USB Type-C port, which supports Quick Charge 3.0. It is able to charge the 3,000 mAh battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
