HONOR has officially launched the HONOR X9d 5G in Malaysia, introducing its toughest and most durable smartphone yet alongside the more affordable HONOR X7d and the compact HONOR Pad X7.
HONOR X9d 5G – Ultra-Tough Yet Powerful
The HONOR X9d 5G is the star of the launch, built with Gold Standard Certified All-Angle Ultra Tough technology. It can withstand drops of up to 2.5 meters and carries IP69K, IP68, and IP66 certifications, offering some of the highest durability ratings in its class.
It features a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, ensuring visibility even under harsh sunlight. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
For photography, the HONOR X9d 5G packs a 108MP main camera alongside a 5MP ultra-wide camera, with a 16MP front camera for selfies. Powering it all is a massive 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 66W HONOR SuperCharge. It runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, complete with AI-driven features for a smarter experience.
Available in Reddish Brown, Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black, the HONOR X9d 5G is priced at RM1,499 (256GB) and RM1,699 (512GB). HONOR X7d – Affordable Durability
The HONOR X7d is positioned as a budget-friendly alternative while still offering solid protection, boasting SGS Premium Drop Protection (5-star rated) and IP65 certification.
It comes with a 6.77-inch HD+ IPS display, a Snapdragon 685 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 512GB of storage. Camera hardware includes a 108MP main shooter with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses an 8MP camera. The device runs on MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15) and packs a 6,500mAh battery with 35W HONOR SuperCharge.
The HONOR X7d is available in Desert Gold and Ocean Cyan at RM799, with a special launch promo price of RM699 thanks to a RM100 rebate.
HONOR Pad X7 – Compact Tablet for Everyday Use
Alongside the smartphones, HONOR also introduced the HONOR Pad X7, featuring an 8.7-inch IPS display (1,340 × 800px, 90Hz refresh rate) and powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor. It includes 4GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable via MicroSD), and packs a 7,020mAh battery.
The tablet is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, running on Android 15. It comes in Gray and is priced at RM499.
