It seems that everyone is now into a gaming smartphone, the Honor Play is the latest gaming-centric by the Chinese company. The device packs a Kirin 970 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The phone sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 display with a notch on top, slightly bigger than the Honor 10. What so special about it is the GPU Turbo technology. This tech enhances the SoC’s GPU performance by roughly 60% but reducing the energy consumption by 30%. Additionally, the phone also comes with an AI-enabled Smart Shock 4D that simulates a dual-shock vibration effect when you’re playing supported games like PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends.
In terms of camera, the Honor Play comes with a 16MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 dual-camera setup at the back with AI features. Selfie wise, there’s a 16MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter. The device also comes with a 3,750mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Honor Play will be available from August 10th onwards, retailing at RM1,249. Pre-order the device from now until August 9th will receive a phone case, a low-friction screen protector, an RM60 PUBG Mobile voucher, and an RM100 hihonor voucher or RM100 Shopee Coin.
