Honor 9 Goes Official with Kirin 960 SoC

The Honor 9 is now finally official! The company has official unveiled its latest flagship, which sports a 5.15-inch Full HD LTPS display.

The glass sandwich design made a return and it now looks even prettier with the curves on both sides. By the way, the nice aurora glass effect is still there, which creates nice light reflections. Not to forget that its fingerprint sensor is now on the front.

Powering the device is a Kirin 960 processor, same as the P10 and P10 Plus, with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

The dual camera on the back is now a 20MP monochrome + 12MP RGB combo, which also features 2x Hybrid Zoom, Portrait Mode, and Wide Aperture Mode. Selfie wise, it has an 8MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter.

Additionally, the device also comes with AKM Hi-Fi chip and Huawei histen technology for a better audio experience. Juicing up the device is a 3,200mAh battery, which also supports fast charging. The Honor 9 will run on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat when it goes on sale.

In terms of color options, the Honor 9 will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, and Grey.
