Honor 6X officially announced with dual-camera

Honor has just officially announced the Honor 6X, a mid-range smartphone with dual-camera setup on the back.

The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display covered by a 2.5D curved glass. Powering the device is a new Kirin 655 octa-core processor (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) with 3GB or 4GB RAM on the 32GB variant and 4GB RAM on the 64GB variant, all variants support MicroSD card for storage expansion.

The Honor 6X has a 12MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back. Selfie wise, there’s an 8MP front-facing shooter. Like the Honor 5X, the fingerprint sensor is located on the back right below the camera lenses.

The Honor 6X has a 3,340mAh non-removable battery, which is capable of up to 12 hours video playback. The device is running on EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Honor 6X will be available in five color options — Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue and Rose Gold. The device is now available for pre-order in China today and will go on sale on October 25. As for Malaysia, Honor Malaysia hasn’t revealed anything regarding to the device launching date.
