Last year, Honor announced the Honor 6X in China. Well, the device has finally made its global debut at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.
The device has a 5.5-inch Full HD display covered by a 2.5D curved glass. Powering it is a Kirin 655 octa-core processor (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) with 3GB or 4GB RAM on the 32GB variant and 4GB RAM on the 64GB variant.
Unlike the Honor 8, the device has a 12MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back, the secondary camera is being used for capturing the depth of view. Selfie wise, there’s an 8MP front-facing shooter.
The Honor 6X comes in three colors — gold, silver and gray. The device will go on sale internationally beginning 4th January 2017. In the US, the device is priced at USD $249.99 for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model and USD $299.99 for the higher 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
As for the availability and pricing in Malaysia, Honor mentioned that it will be announced soon. We expect the gold variant will be slightly more expensive than the other two variants.
