Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 10 series at its Made by Google event in Brooklyn, New York. The lineup consists of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Notably, for the first time, the base Pixel now comes equipped with a telephoto camera.
At first glance, the Pixel 10 looks nearly identical to its predecessor, but the rear pill-shaped camera bar now houses three sensors instead of two. The setup includes a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. On the front, it features a 10.5MP camera with autofocus. While the addition of a telephoto lens is a welcome upgrade, the ultrawide camera sees a downgrade compared to the Pixel 9.
Powering the device is Google’s new 3nm Tensor G5 SoC, manufactured by TSMC, paired with the Titan M2 chip for added security. It comes with 12GB RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 4.0.
On the display front, the phone sports a 6.3-inch Actua display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As an LTPS panel, it adapts between 60Hz and 120Hz. The display achieves a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Pixel 10 also introduces an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, offers IP68 water and dust resistance, and runs on Android 16 with seven years of OS and security updates.
Battery life gets a boost with a 4,970 mAh unit, supporting 29W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. It is also compatible with Google’s new Qi2 Pixelsnap accessories announced alongside the phone.
Available in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian, the Pixel 10 will be available for pre-order in Malaysia starting 21 August 2025, with sales beginning on 28 August 2025. The 128GB variant is priced at RM3,999, and as a launch offer, buyers will receive a free storage upgrade worth up to RM500.
