Apple announced the new iPad Air, which now comes in two sizes — 11 and 13 inches. Both iPads still have 60Hz IPS LCD Liquid Retina displays. The 11-inch model features a 2,360 x 1,640px resolution and 500 nits peak brightness while the 13-inch gets a 2,732 x 2,048px resolution and 600 nits brightness.
The 2024 iPad Air looks just like the 2022 edition, but its 12MP FaceTime camera has been relocated to the horizontal plane for better video calls. The back remains the same 12MP rear camera.
Powering the new iPad Air is an M2 chip (8-core CPU and 10-core GPU) with 8GB RAM and 128GB base storage. It still has the Touch ID embedded in the power button and both models are now compatible with Apple’s current Magic Keyboard and the new Apple Pencil Pro.
The 2024 iPad Air is available in space gray and starlight, in addition to new purple and blue finishes. The 11-inch model retails from RM2,999 in 128GB Wi-Fi trim. As for the 13-inch model, its price starts at RM3,999 in 128GB Wi-Fi trim.
