Apple has officially announced the all-new Mac mini, which has a revamped design that is even more mini yet more mighty. Weighing just 670g (M4) and 720g (M4 Pro), the new Mac mini is a direct successor to last year’s M2 model.
The new model is configurable with the brand-new Apple M4 Pro chip, which offers up to 64GB of unified memory. M4 Pro comes in two configurations: a 12-core CPU and 16-core GPU on the base spec and a 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU on the higher-end trim. The standard M4 chip offers 10 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores.
The I/O on the device offers a range of connectivity options, including 2x USB-C ports and a headphone jack on the front. On the back, you’ll find 3x Thunderbolt ports (Thunderbolt 4 on the standard M4 model and Thunderbolt 5 on the M4 Pro), 1x HDMI, 1x Gigabit Ethernet port (with a 10Gb upgrade option), and power input. It also supports wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless performance.
Customers can soon order the new Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro on apple.com/my/store, in the Apple Store app, in Apple Store locations, and Apple Authorised Resellers.
