Apple Unveils Redesigned iPad in Four Vibrant Colors

Apple iPad (10th Generation)

Apple just announced the 10th-generation iPad, which is a completely redesigned one. Unlike its predecessor, this new entry-level iPad is thinner with flat sides and a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display (2,360 x 1,640 pixels) that has 500 nits of brightness and True Tone technology.

Apple iPad (10th Generation)

The 10th-generation iPad is basically an iPad Air (2022) without the M1 chip. In fact, Touch ID is built into the power button of the tablet. Powering the tablet is the A14 Bionic chip with a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine.

Apple has finally decided to use USB-C for its entry-level model, meaning all current-gen iPads are now no longer using the Lightning port. It still supports the first-gen Apple Pencil though, and the Pencil still uses a Lightning connector, which means you’ll need a USB-C to Lightning adapter that comes in the box.

The tablet is available in Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Silver. In terms of storage options, it is available in 64GB and 256GB. As usual, you can either get the Wi-Fi only model or the Wi-Fi + 5G model, both variants support Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

The 10th-gen model now comes with a landscape-oriented 12MP f/2.4 122-degree ultra-wide front camera that supports Smart HDR 3, 1080p video up to 60fps, and extended dynamic range up to 30fps. The tablet has a 12MP rear camera that supports 4K video recording.
