Apple has officially unveiled the AirPods Pro 3, bringing major upgrades in audio performance, smart features, and fitness tracking.

The new AirPods Pro 3 deliver better bass and a wider soundstage, alongside twice the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance compared to the AirPods Pro 2. Battery life has also improved, offering up to 8 hours of listening with ANC enabled, while Transparency Mode now sounds more natural and extends usage up to 10 hours.
Apple is also positioning the AirPods Pro 3 as a health and fitness companion. A built-in heart rate monitor can track over 50 workout types via the Fitness app, while Fitness+ subscribers gain access to real-time metrics such as heart rate, calories burned, Move ring progress, and the Burn Bar—displayed directly on their iPhone. Even non-Fitness+ users can benefit from Workout Buddy, which provides coaching and encouragement during workouts.

Accessibility gets a boost as well. The Hearing Aid feature is now available in the UK and EU, with Conversation Boost automatically activating in noisy environments like restaurants.
On the design front, the AirPods Pro 3 have been completely reengineered for comfort. Apple conducted over 10,000 ear scans and 100,000 hours of user research to create a new shape that fits more ears. The earbuds are smaller, with tips aligned to the center of the body for better stability. They also come with an IP57 rating, making them more resistant to dust and water than previous models.

One of the standout additions is Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence. This feature allows users to understand and converse in other languages hands-free. For situations where the other person doesn’t have AirPods, the iPhone can display live transcriptions in the preferred language.
The AirPods Pro 3 will soon be available in Malaysia, starting at RM999. Visit Apple Online Store here to find out more.
