Wiko View2 Plus and Tommy3 Plus Now Available in Malaysia

Wiko has added two new phones — the Wiko View2 Plus and Tommy3 Plus. Both phones are marketed as ultra-sleek phones that offers an immersive visual experience. Both phones were introduced at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA 2018) exhibition. These two phones will be powered by Android Oreo and will be made available starting 17th September 2018.

Wiko View2 Plus

The View2 Plus comes with a new T-shaped design and Supernova finish that gives the device a premium finish with the coveted glossy effect. The phone also has a 19:9 format (5.93” HD+ Display) that gives extra usable screen space in a compact body, suitable for one-handed operations. The phone also is superb for gaming or just comfortable binge-watching on-the-go with 4G connectivity.

With the wider immersive display, comes the custom User Interface that ensures native and 3rd party apps for the ultra-widescreen seamlessly, further enhancing the already immersive experience.

The View 2 Plus also comes with 12MP+5MP dual rear cameras and 8MP front camera to capture stunning pictures, not to mention it is also AI imaging powered. There is also Phase Detection Autofocus for optimal photos in the dark, Instant Multi-frame processing and Blurless that helps minimize blur and noise so that the user can snap and share clear images effortlessly. Besides that, there is also Live Artistic Blur to introduce bokeh effect, and Face Beauty or Live AR filters for an Insta-worthy post. Adding to the dynamism is the Sony IMX486 sensor and Auto Scene Detection to allow for a pro-like-portrait or video. Also, capture steady videos with its built-in FHD Video Stabilization.

The View2 Plus will offer 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB on an external MicroSD card for an uncompromised storage solution to keep all your photos, vids, and music.

The Qualcomm Octa-Core 1.8 GHz CPU and 3GB RAM is the heart of the View2 Plus and the Android Oreo will be its joyful soul that will ensure minimal power consumption on the 4,000mAh battery.

For those who are interested, the View2 Plus will be available at a price of RM559. It comes standard with a 1-year warranty. The phone will be available in two colors – Supernova and Anthracite.

Tommy3 Plus

The Tommy3 Plus features an edge-to-edge bezel-less display unlike the View2 Plus, it has an 18:9 (5.45” HD+) widescreen display that provides an awesome visual immersion.

On the back of the Tommy3 Plus also features a 13MP rear camera for capturing sharp, clear and bright snapshots while the front 5MP camera brings selfies to another level of natural looking photos with Auto-HDR and Soft Light Flash. The phone is also able to capture low light photos with its large f/2.0 lens aperture and 5P lenses. There is also an Auto Scene Detection feature that fine-tunes your setup for amazing portrait and night shots. Live Portrait Blur, Face Beauty, Live AR Filters and Time Lapse effect are also available on this device. With all these features to try out on the camera, memories can be stored safely within the 16GB internal storage which is also expandable to 128GB on a MicroSD card.

Multitasking is made easier with its 2GB RAM and a MediaTek Quad-Core 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 will provide a smooth experience. The Tommy3 Plus also has a 2,900mAh battery strong enough to last for a day of intensive use.

Those who are interested are looking at a price tag of RM399 and will come with the 1-year warranty and will be available in four colors – Anthracite Mirror, Gold, Bleen, and Cherry Red.
