vivo has finally officially announced the Xplay5 smartphone, which is the first smartphone with a dual-curved display from the company.
The Xplay5 sports a 5.43-inch 2K Super AMOLED display and it has dual-curved like the Samsung Galaxy S6/S7 edge. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
The vivo Xplay5 features a metal unibody design with diamond cutting technology. There’s a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device and vivo claims that it takes only 0.4 second to unlock from sleep.
Camera wise, the device has a 16 MP rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture, while the front camera is an 8 MP unit.
The vivo Xplay5 boasts a 3,600 mAh battery with fast charging technology. It is running on Funtouch OS 2.5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Additionally, vivo has also announced the Xplay5S, which comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 6 GB RAM, while the rest of the specs are same.
