vivo launched the V5 in Malaysia last year with 20MP selfie camera. When the event was ending, the company also teased the V5Plus, which is said to be launched in last December. It’s already 2017, the company is finally launching the V5Plus this Friday but we now have the full pricing and hardware specs.
According to authorized retailer DirectD, the V5Plus is now available for pre-order pricing at RM1,799. Specs wise, it’s pretty close to the OPPO R9s. The device has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, though we aren’t sure is it using an AMOLED panel. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB non-expandable storage.
The V5Plus has a 16MP rear camera, while there’s a dual-camera setup on the front — 20MP primary camera + 8MP secondary unit. Juicing up the device is a 3,610mAh battery, which supports fast charging feature. Looking at the image above, it appears that the V5Plus does have a similar antenna design as the iPhone 7.
