The HTC U11 was first available in three colors when it first launched — Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, and Brilliant Black. Well, the company has just announced that the Solar Red variant is now available in Malaysia.
Officially retails at RM3,099, the Solar Red U11 will actually transform to a searing orange color and even to yellow-gold hues under certain lightings.
The device sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display. It features the same “liquid glass surface” design as the U Ultra. Additionally, the device is also IP67 water and dust resistance.
The device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. It features Edge Sense, which involves squeezing the frame to launch specific apps.
In terms of camera, the U11 has a 12MP f/1.7 UltraPixel 3 camera (1.4μm pixel) with UltraSpeed autofocus and OIS. There’s also a 16MP selfie shooter with UltraPixel light sensitivity for better low-light selfies.
Last but not least, the device also comes with BoomSound speakers and also a 3,000mAh battery that supports QC 3.0. That’s been said, the HTC U11 now has four color variants in Malaysia.
