A few days ago, Samsung Malaysia released an official statement regarding to the Galaxy Note7 battery issue. The company stated that they will voluntarily replace all the devices with a new one over the coming weeks.
The company has just announced that the Galaxy Note7 replacement in Malaysia begins 29th September. Customers may return their existing Galaxy Note7 and collect their new Galaxy Note7 at the place of purchase (original place of collection).
In case you don’t know about the Galaxy Note7 battery issue, there have been more than 35 cases of explosions that have been reported globally. Hence, Samsung halted sales and will conduct a global recall of the Galaxy Note7.
For safety reason, we advise you to turn off the Galaxy Note7 now as there are some cases reported that the device actually explode even if it’s not charging.
