The OPPO R17 Pro is set to launch in Malaysia on November 22nd, which will be the latest R series device to be available in Malaysia.
The phone sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, which also comes with the waterdrop notch display. The fingerprint sensor is in-display, similar to the OnePlus 6T. It has a color changing back design, not something new in 2018. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 12MP F1.5/F2.6 Smart Aperture camera and a secondary 20MP F2.6 camera. There’s one more sensor below the dual-camera setup, which is actually the TOF 3D stereo camera. Selfie wise, there’s a 25MP F2.0 front-facing shooter.
The phone packs two 1,850mAh batteries, making a total capacity of 3,700mAh. It also supports Super VOOC Flash Charge, which charges up to 40% in just 10 minutes. The phone also runs on ColorOS 5.2, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The OPPO R17 Pro will make its debut in Malaysia on November 22nd. It will be available in Radiant Mist, while the Emerald Green variant will be available in limited quantity. Different from the Radiant Mist color option, the Emerald Green comes with a glossy texture to bring out its subtle yet sleek feel.
