OPPO Malaysia starts pre-order period for R7s with limited quantity of Rose Gold

OPPO’s latest pride of joy, the R7s will be open for pre-orders in Malaysia starting today until the 22nd of November. As teased previously, they are bringing the limited Rose Gold option alongside the standard gold. Being the 2nd largest model in the R7 series just behind the R7 Plus, the R7s is officially priced at RM 1,898.

As stated above, the pre-order starts from today, the 7th of November until the 22nd of November 2015 with the added bonus of no down payment required. As further incentive, OPPO will gift the first 500 pre-orders with a VOOC Car Charger for free, which is worth RM 148.

The R7s is part of OPPO’s range of premium unibody smart phones with a sleek metal back and a smooth 2.5D glass at front. Besides the aesthetics, the OPPO R7s packs better specs with 4 GB of RAM, a first for the Chinese brand. The display is a 5.5″ Full HD AMOLED screen and it runs on a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. As for its picture taking prowess, it gets a 13 MP main camera with Phase Detection AF, while selfie shots are handled by a 8 MP front camera.

Powering the metal smart phone is a 3,070 mAh battery which supports VOOC Flash Charging. If you’re in a rush, OPPO estimates that a 5 minutes charge is enough to provide a full 2 hours of talk time. Like the rest of its lineup, it runs on ColorOS 2.1 that’s based on Android 5.1.

To secure your R7s, you can pre-order by heading to the official OPPO Malaysia website. It must be noted that the Rose Gold option would have a delay in collection, which is estimated to be some time in December.
