Moto G5 Plus Officially Launched in Malaysia

Announced earlier this year at MWC 2017, the Moto G5 Plus today made its official appearance in Malaysia. For the first time in the series, the G5 Plus packs a metal design, instead of plastic.

The device sports a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4 GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. Not to forget that the device also has a fingerprint sensor below the display, which also capable of replacing the navigation keys.

In terms of camera, the G5 Plus packs a 12MP f/1.7 rear camera with Dual Pixel tech. Selfie wise, there’s a 5MP f/2.2 wide-angle front-facing shooter.

As its back isn’t removable, the G5 Plus has a 3,000mAh embedded battery inside, which also comes with TurboPower charger that provides up to 6 hours of battery life in 15 minutes of charging.

Officially retails at RM1,299, the G5 Plus is now available for pre-order exclusively on Lazada Malaysia. The device is available in two colors — Lunar Gray and Fine Gold. The pre-order period starts now until June 4th.

Each pre-order comes with a 12-month extended warranty, free flip case and screen protector.

The device will go on sale on June 5th and each purchase will receive a flip case and screen protector as well. Additionally, Lazada Malaysia also offers 0% installment plan as well, though for Maybank users only.
