HONOR View20 Officially Launched, Priced from RM1,999

Even though the HONOR View20 was unveiled in China last month, the company today has finally announced the phone for international markets.

The phone sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ LTPS display with a punch-hole selfie camera design. Yes, you heard it right, the phone doesn’t have a notch, but a new punch-hole design. It is powered by a 7nm Kirin 980 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The phone has an Aurora Nanotexture back, which has a “V” shape. In terms of rear camera, it has a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 0.8µm pixel size. The camera can do 4-in-1 pixel binning (superpixels) together with Artificial Image Stabilization (AIS) to capture nice night shots. There’s also a TOF 3D stereo camera that allows you to play 3D motion games. Additionally, it comes with real-time video retouching as well. Selfie wise, there’s a 25MP front-facing unit with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery with HONOR SuperCharge that charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.0 on top.

HONOR Watch Magic

Besides HONOR View20, the company also launched the HONOR Watch Magic. It is a smart wearable device with up to 7 days of battery life. The watch has a 1.2-inch 390 x 390 AMOLED display with 326 PPI pixel density. It comes with built-in GPS that supports 3 Satellite Positioning Systems (GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO) worldwide. The watch also the real-time heart rate monitoring for fitness and health tracking.

The HONOR View20 will be priced at RM1,999 (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) and RM2,499 (8GB RAM + 256GB storage), respectively. As for the HONOR Watch Magic, it will retail at RM599. These two devices will be available in Malaysia from 26th January 2019 onwards. Furthermore, HONOR Malaysia will be having its largest roadshow at Ground Floor, Highstreet @ 1 Utama Shopping Centre this coming Saturday (26th January) from 9 AM onwards.
