The Honor 8 is finally official! Honor, a subsidiary of Huawei, announced the company’s latest flagship device — Honor 8.
The device features 2.5D glass on its front and rear, and sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display at 423ppi pixel density. Unlike the P9, the Honor 8 is powered by a Kirin 950 processor instead of Kirin 955. The phone has up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, and it is expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB.
Camera wise, the device has a dual-12MP rear camera setup with f/2.2 aperture and laser auto-focus. The phone has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfie duty. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner is located right below the rear camera, which also comes with a few extra features.
The Honor 8 is running on EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. So far there’s no words on its launching date in Malaysia, we hope Honor Malaysia will make it happen quick.
