We all know that smartphone with 2K display isn’t cheap at all, even high-end smartphones at premium prices such as the Huawei Mate S, Sony Xperia Z5 Dual and even Apple iPhone 6s Plus only come with 1080p display. But there’s one company, named Elephone, is bringing in a smartphone with 2K display that costs only RM 1,349.
The Elephone Vowney is a smartphone which features a 5.5-inch 2K LTPS display at 535 ppi pixel density. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM. The phone itself has 32 GB internal storage and it is expandable via MicroSD card.
The Elephone Vowney is a dual SIM smartphone with Micro SIM + Nano SIM combo. The device is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop and juicing it up is a huge 4,000 mAh battery.
Not to forget that it has a 21 MP rear and 8 MP front cameras. The rear camera uses Sony IMX230 sensor which comes with 0.3 seconds auto-focus speed. It is capable for 4K video recording too.
